  • HealthFinder.gov: Maintained by US Dept. of Health and Human Services, it offers links to many resources, including online publications and self-groups.
  • National Library of Medicine: Maintained by United States National Library of Medicine. Portal for MedlinePlus.

  • Mother of All Art History Resources: Annotated links to art history sites compiled by University of Michigan Art History Department.
  • Timeline of Art History: Maintained by Metropolitan Museum of Art, this site provides an explanation of each period with illustrative work.

  • Job Hunter's Bible: Online supplement to the popular What Color is Your Parachute? by author Richard Bolles. Especially important for career changes.
  • Occupational Outlook Handbook: Maintained by the United States Bureau of Labor and Statistics.  Job descriptions, salary expectations, educational requirements, and forecasted outlooks for a wide variety of jobs and professions.  
  • Writing Resumes and Cover Letters: Maintained by the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Comprehensive information about writing resumes and cover letters.  Ten sample resumes are given.
