Welcome to MyMHCC

MyMHCC is your online gateway to Mt. Hood Community College. This site allows you to connect with faculty, staff and students, register for courses, keep up with college activities and take care of many aspects of college business.

Below you will find 5 links. Each link goes to specific user documentation depending on how you will need to use MyMHCC. Click on the link below and you will either be sent to a new web site that contains the needed documentation or in the case of the Staff documentation, it will open on the click of the link.

How Students log into MyMHCC:

  • Your username is your MHCC ID number.
  • Your password is your six-digit birth date until you change it after logging in for the first time.
  • If you need assistance with your username please contact Admissions, Registration and Records Office at 503-491-7393.

If you are not a registered student, staff or faculty member, your access is limited to the portal home page.

Making Student Assigned Email Your Primary Email Address In The Portal

MHCC is now offering email accounts to students. Once you have signed up, you can also make this your primary email in the MHCC Portal. By doing this, the college and faculty will be able to contact you via your email for special notices and announcements. Your primary email in the MHCC Portal is the one that shows in your Personal Info area under Email and is used for all portal communications. You are encouraged to set your new MHCC Student email to be your primary email in the MHCC Portal.

Here are the steps you need to take to make your MHCC Student Email your primary email account for the MHCC Portal:

  1. Once you have set up your MHCC Student Email (instructions on how to setup your student email account can be found below), log onto the portal - http://my.mhcc.edu/ics.
  2. Once logged in, click on the Student Services tab
  3. Next Click on the Enrollment and Registration folder found in the left hand navigation.
  4. Click on the My Profile page found in the left hand navigation.
  5. From the portlet that opens in the main part of the page, click on Biographical Data link.
  6. A new window will open with navigational links at the top. Click on Update Address/Phone/Email.
  7. Type your MHCC Student email address in the text box next the email heading and the click the submit button.
  8. This process can only be done once in a 24 hour period, so make sure to carefully type in the correct email address. If you should happen to make a mistake, follow this same process 24 hours later.
